Visual designDesigners need to have a strong sense of aesthetics and be able to create visually appealing designs that communicate the intended message effectively. This involves creating an appealing visual style, selecting colors and typography, and using imagery to enhance the user experience.

PrototypingUX UI designers must create accurate prototypes to test and refine designs, using tools like wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes while also allowing for user feedback and iteration.

My process

Sticking to a simple five step process.

Research & UnderstandingConduct user research to gather insights about the target audience's needs, preferences, and behaviors. This step involves gathering data from various sources, such as user interviews, surveys, and analytics, to inform the design process.

Ideation Generate ideas and concepts for the design based on the insights gathered from the research. This step involves brainstorming, sketching, and creating user personas and scenarios.

DesignCreate low-fidelity (sketches) and high-fidelity prototypes to visualise and test the design. This step involves using design tools like Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that simulate the user's interaction with the product or service.

TestingConduct usability testing to validate the design and ensure that it meets the user's needs and expectations. This step involves getting feedback from the target audience through user testing and analyzing the results to refine the design iteratively.

ImplementationImplement the final design and launch the product or service. This step involves working closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and effectively. It also involves monitoring the product or service's performance and making necessary adjustments based on user feedback and analytics.
